The Anochrome Group is the UK’s largest independent specialist surface coatings and metal finishing company.
With a proud 80-year history dating back to just after the Second World War, our group of companies expertly processes tens of millions of components every week for a wide range of domestic and international customers.
We have six manufacturing units – four in the West Midlands, one in Poland and one in the Czech Republic. Each company has its own unique specialities and capabilities, but all are united in a commitment to reliability, service and excellence.
Despite tremendous growth, the Group remains resolutely family-owned and independent.
Our experience, coupled with industry-leading technology and on-site testing facilities, allows us to deliver finished products to customer specifications – on time and cost-effectively.

Achieving and maintaining these accreditations is no easy task – our companies undergo regular, rigorous audits to ensure full compliance. They span a wide range of disciplines, including quality management systems, environmental management and cybersecurity.
These accreditations are just one way we demonstrate our commitment to best practice, robust systems and continuous improvement.
As the Group develops, we are currently working towards new accreditations which will demonstrate our compliance and expertise in other areas.
